I offer arts integration workshops, and have presented to teachers in schools around the US and abroad, through the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, Washington Opera, and Educational Theatre Company.
These organizations gave me extensive ‘training in how to train’ that was both challenging and rewarding.
I try to apply and extend this training no matter where I am. During my years at overseas schools, I have taken every chance to create and deliver workshops for colleagues, both in the area of Arts Integration and Gifted Education.
Most rewarding of all is when the workshop grows into an ongoing collaboration, between myself and my fellow teachers, teaching us both about each other’s discipline as we integrate them into students’ work.
The teacher workshops range in subject from Arts Integration, to Teacher-directed theater, to teaching and learning Shakespeare, to Gifted Education.
I continue to seek these opportunities on a freelance basis. To book a workshop or find out more, please contact me.
